Biography

Michael Önder was born in 1977 in Plymouth, UK. He grew up in Istanbul. He has BA in Philosophy from Boğaziçi University, Turkey and an MA in Film and TV Studies from the University of Warwick, England. He worked for ten years in London in the film industry and then moved to Istanbul. He has directed numerous music videos, short films and commercials in London and Istanbul. Taksim Hold’em is his first feature length project.
