Born in Gaziantep in 1988, he finished primary and high school in Antalya. He is a graduate of Ankara University Communication Faculty Radio TV and Cinema Department. He continues his master's degree and film studies at Marmara University Fine Arts Institute Film Design Department.

He received many awards with his short movie "Nar Zamani" (Pomegranate Time) produced in 2014.

His movie "Masuk" produced in 2012 was screened in many national and international festivals.

He is the director of photography in the documentary "Minibüs" broadcast on TRT Documentary channel. He has been also shooting video clips for songs.

His latest film Kar Zamanı (Snowfall Time) won Best Original Story, Best Editing, Best Narrative, Best Cinematography and Best Male Director at the Independent Short Awards in Los Angeles, USA in June 2018.
